Hey There, I’m Michelle!
Hi there, I’m Michelle! I’m a full-time marketing manager living my double life as a photographer & blogger. I’m originally from the Dallas Fort Worth area, but moved to Austin in 2013 and have been here ever since! However, that hasn’t stopped me from traveling all around Texas to visit friends and family.
I created A Girl From TX to share my favorite places in every city and encourage others to explore their cities more too! I realized when I graduated college (HOOK ‘EM) that I hadn’t taken the time to explore the way I wanted to, so I started this A Girl From Texas to document everything I was trying out in my post-grad life.
My goal is to help both my fellow Texas residents, natives, and visitors find their favorite spots across this great state too!

I’m an Enneagram 2w3, ENFP, and Leo gal (if you know you know)
I have a grandma cat (like, she legally is an Adult) named Sarah
I’m half French and half Texas, my mom and her family are all French!
